ATTRACTIONS & PLACES TO VISIT AND EXPLORE IN PUSHKAR
1. Pushkar Lake & Ghats

Start early at Pushkar Lake.
Watch pilgrims begin their morning rituals, listen to temple bells, and see the town slowly come alive. Go early. The atmosphere is completely different before the tourist crowds arrive.

2. Brahma Temple
Located in the scenic Pushkar Valley, the Brahma Temple is one of India’s most important pilgrimage sites and is famously dedicated to Lord Brahma. The temple is known for its distinctive red spire, marble architecture, silver decorations, and four-faced idol of Lord Brahma. A unique statue of the Sun God, Surya, can also be found here wearing traditional warrior-style boots. The temple is a must-visit attraction while exploring Pushkar, especially by bicycle.

3. Savitri Temple
Ride towards Savitri Temple for one of the best views of Pushkar.
The climb is challenging, but the reward is worth it. From above, you can see the lake, town, desert
landscape, and Aravalli hills stretching into the distance.

4. Pushkar Countryside
This is where the real adventure begins.

herders, camels, local homes, and everyday Rajasthan.
No big attraction.
Just real life.
And that’s exactly why we love it.

5. Pap Mochani Temple
Take the quieter road towards Pap Mochani Temple. Away from Pushkar’s busy centre, the landscape opens up and the Aravalli hills become your backdrop.
It’s a peaceful stop and a great place to experience Pushkar without the crowds.

6. Pushkar Camel Fair
Pushkar is internationally known for its famous Pushkar Camel Fair, traditionally held around the Kartik Purnima period.
During the festival season, Pushkar becomes exceptionally busy, with visitors, pilgrims, traders, performers and livestock arriving from different regions.
Cycling during this period can be an interesting experience, but the crowded roads and increased pedestrian movement mean cyclists need to be particularly careful. Some areas may also have traffic or access restrictions.
For a quieter cycling experience, consider visiting outside the busiest festival days.

7. Nag Pahar & Aravalli Roads
Pushkar sits beside Nag Pahar, part of the ancient Aravalli range.
Take the roads around the hills for dramatic views and a little adventure.
Expect some climbs, but also quiet roads, rocky landscapes, and fantastic photo stops.
