Gulmarg | UNMAP Adventure

Gulmarg is a place that’s really beautiful it is like nothing you have ever seen before. When you go to Gulmarg with UNMAP Adventure it is like a dream come true. Gulmarg has lots of fields and lots of colorful flowers everywhere that is why people call it the Meadow of Flowers. The town is surrounded by mountains with snow on top and hills that go up and down it is a really pretty place to visit in India. Gulmarg is one of the beautiful mountain places, in India.

Gulmarg is a beautiful place with big open spaces and amazing views of the Himalayan mountains. It is very peaceful and simple. Gulmarg is great for people who want to get from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you want to go on adventures or just sit quietly in nature Gulmarg is the place to go. The mountains in Gulmarg give you a feeling of calmness and wonder. Gulmarg has something for everyone whether you want experiences or quiet time in the mountains. Gulmarg is, about the Himalayan mountains and the peaceful life they offer.

At UNMAP Adventure we like to take our time when we visit Gulmarg. We want to see the Gulmarg, not just rush through it. So we focus on travel and responsible exploration. This means we really think about how our actions affect the environment and the people who live in Gulmarg. We want to have a connection with nature when we are in Gulmarg.

We take people to open meadows and forest trails and to viewpoints. Every place we go is special. We choose these places because they help people disconnect from their routine and reconnect with the mountains. The mountains, in Gulmarg are really beautiful. Day 01 :

Arrival Srinagar Airport

When you get to Srinagar airport our person will be there to meet you. They will take you to your hotel in Srinagar. You will stay at the hotel overnight.

In the evening you can have some fun. Go for a Cycling ride, around Dal Lake.

Day 02 :

Nishat Srinagar – Manasbal Lake (32 KM, 3 hours, Altitude gain 0M)

You will have a breakfast. Then an assistant will look at your cycles to make sure they are ready for your Trip. The assistant will guide you on your Trip.

We will start the trip with a flag off ceremony. The flag off ceremony will be in Srinagar, which's in the heart of the valley. We will go to Manasbal lake from Srinagar. This will be a 32 Kms Ride.

On the way to Manasbal lake you will see the views of Dal Lake. You will see these views from the banks of Dal Lake, on Boulevard and Foreshore Road. Then we will go to Ganderbal main. After a kilometers we will reach our destination, which is Manasbal.

The name Manasbal comes from Lake Manasarovar. This lake is surrounded by three villages. These villages are Jarokbal, Kondabal and Ganderbal. Kondabal is also known as Kiln place. It is on the north-eastern side of the lake.

The lake looks really beautiful because of the lotus plants that grow around it. These lotus plants bloom in July and August. The water of the lake is very clear. There is a garden, near the lake. This garden is called Jaroka, which means bay window. Nur Jahan built this garden. It overlooks the lake, which is the Manasbal lake. The Manasbal lake is a place to visit. The lake is really great for birdwatching because it is one of the homes of Aquatic birds in Kashmir. People even call it the " gem of all Kashmir Lakes”. You can find lotus plants, over the lake. The local people use the roots of these lotus plants. They sell them. Also eat them. You can stay overnight in a Hotel or a camp.

Day 03 :

Manasbal to Gulmarg (Distance: 51 km)

You will start your day with a breakfast. Then an assistant will look at your cycles to make sure they are ready for your trip. The assistant will guide you throughout your trip. You will be cycling from Manasbal to Gulmarg. You will go via Tangmarg Road. You will cover around 51 kilometers. Then you will arrive at Gulmarg. When you get to Gulmarg you will go to your hotel or camp. Relax for a bit. Gulmarg is a peaceful place. It is so calm and serene. For people who love nature Gulmarg is, like a dream come true. Cycling in Gulmarg is really an experience. Gulmarg got its name because of the hills that are full of pretty flowers. This is why Gulmarg is one of the places that people like to visit the most in India. The town is surrounded by nice views and it is very simple which makes it a very charming place to be in. You can go on a fun ride, on the gondola if you want to. You have to pay for it yourself. The gondola ride is really exciting. You can see the hills that are covered with fir trees. You have the evening to do what you want. You can go for a walk through the valleys. The mountain streams are really nice too. You can also go to the lakes, in the area. The lakes are very pretty. The valleys are so nice to walk through.

Day 04 :

Gulmarg to Srinagar (50km)

I am going to Srinagar after I have my breakfast. I will be cycling there. Srinagar is a beautiful place that is on the banks of the river Jhelum. It is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The landscape of Srinagar is very pretty the buildings are amazing. It has a lot of old tombs and temples. Srinagar also has nice gardens and a big lake called Dal Lake. All these things make Srinagar a nice place to visit. Srinagar has a lot of lakes around it which makes it look very scenic and peaceful. That is why people call Srinagar the Kashmiri Venice or the Venice of the East. Cycling, to Srinagar is going to be a lot of fun. Srinagar is a place. Srinagar is a pretty place that makes you feel like you are in the past. It has a lot of beauty and a lot of history. The city of Srinagar is very good at showing tourists its world charm. You will stay in a hotel, in Srinagar for the night. Srinagar has many beautiful things to see.

Day 05 :

Srinagar Mughal Gardens (40km)

I am going to the Shankaracharya Temple after I have my breakfast. I will be cycling to the Shankaracharya Temple. The cycling path to the Shankaracharya Temple is uphill for 5 kilometers. Downhill, for 5 kilometers.

The Shankaracharya Temple is named after the saint Shankaracharya. The Shankaracharya Temple is situated atop the Gopadari Hill. The Shankaracharya Temple is an important Hindu pilgrimage site.

The Shankaracharya Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. To get to the Shankaracharya Temple I have to climb around a hundred steps. The Shankaracharya Temple is built in a structure. The structure of the Shankaracharya Temple looks like a Shiva linga.

After visiting the Shankaracharya Temple I will go to the Mughal Gardens. The Mughal Gardens are really beautiful. I want to explore the beauty of the Mughal Gardens. The Mughal Gardens are really beautiful with lots of flowers and big fountains and lawns that are on different levels. The Mughal Gardens are so nice that it is hard to describe how nice they are.

After you visit the cool places in Srinagar you should go shopping at Lal Chowk it is a very busy place. At Lal Chowk you can buy things that people make in that area like leather things, mats with designs and nice carpets, old jewellery and the very famous Pashmina shawls from Mughal Gardens and Srinagar.

After you relax for a bit you should go for a ride, on a shikara it is very calming and nice the Mughal Gardens and Srinagar are places to do this. Dal Lake is really special. It is so beautiful that it grabs everyones attention. The floating market on Dal Lake is very charming. The area around Dal Lake is very lively. It is also very peaceful. Being, at Dal Lake will make you feel completely refreshed. Dal Lake is a place to visit because it has a lot to offer. The beauty of Dal Lake is something that you will always remember.

Later we will check in at the Houseboat or the Hotel. Then we will have a dinner. After that we will have a time sleeping at the Houseboat or the Hotel.
