The ride starts in Bageshwar. This is where Unmap Adventure begins the journey. They get blessings at the Baijnath Temple. This temple is very special. It makes the start of the journey feel spiritual and important.

As the cyclists go forward they go through forests. These forests have old Lord Shiva temples in them. Some people think these temples are 4,000 to 5,000 years old. The cyclists ride their bikes under big and very old trees. As they ride they see the Himalayas. The Himalayas are really big and beautiful. They look amazing. The Himalayas and the ride, with Unmap Adventure are an experience. When you get to Kausani, the Himalayas are really beautiful. You see the mountains, with snow on them. These views of the snow covered mountains stay with you as you go further into the Himalayas. The views of Kausani and the Himalayas are very nice.

Day 01 :

Delhi - Sat Tal Approx 282 Kms ( Drive)

We will arrive in the afternoon. After that we will have some drinks. Then we will have a lunch. After lunch mountain bicycling people will not bother us. We will be at leisure. In the evening the professionals, in the field of mountain bicycling will introduce themselves to us. We will stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 02 :

Bageshwar - Baijnath (23 Kms)

Bageshwar 1965 M is a nice place. It is 30 kilometers from Almora. You will find a lot of Deodar trees in Bageshwar. These Deodar trees are a type of tree that you do not see often in the Himalayas anymore.

Bageshwar has one of the forests. Some of the trees in this forest are really old. 300 Years old. The forest in Bageshwar is along the Gomati River. It is a pretty even stretch.

Baijnath is close to Bageshwar. It is famous for its old temples. There are also some Shakti temples of Kot near Bageshwar. These Shakti temples of Kot are ten kilometers away from Bageshwar. The Shakti temples of Kot are dedicated to Lord Shiva who is known as The Destroyer.

The forests in Bageshwar have some old Shiva temples. These old Shiva temples are in a location. The old Shiva temples, in the forests of Bageshwar are really beautiful and unique. Overnight camp at the riverside.

Day 03 :

Baijnath - Kausani (17 Kms)

The road to Kausani is really steep.. When you get there you will see the Himalayan peaks all around you. These mountains look amazing from the green valley of Katyiar. Kausani is 40 Kms from Almora. From Kausani you can see the High Himalayas for a stretch of 350 Kms. We will stay in the Camp, at Kausani for the night.

Day 04 :

Kausani - Someshwar (12 Kms / Binta 15 Kms)

Cycling in Kumaon

Kausani to Someshwar is all down hill to the tiny hamlet of Binta in the middle of the Valley. Over night in the Guesthouse.

Day 05 :

Binta - Ranikhet (23 Kms)

The day ends with a climb on a steep track that takes you to Ranikhet, which is also known as the Queens Garden. The Queen really liked this place a time ago so she decided to make it her own special town. Ranikhet has an army area where the Kumaon Regiment is based and they have a lot of brave stories to tell. Ranikhet is also well known for its Botanical gardens of Chaubatia and the lovely fruit orchards. You can also visit the Hariakhan and the Kalika Temple. You will stay overnight at the Holms Heritage Farm. Ranikhet has a lot to offer from the Queens Garden to the Botanical gardens of Chaubatia and the beautiful temples like the Hariakhan and the Kalika Temple so you will have a time, in Ranikhet.

Day 06 :

Ranikhet - Bhatrajkhan (28 Kms)

You go down a hill on a track that takes you through lots of villages to Bhatrajkhan on your way, to Corbett park. You will stay in the camps at night.

Day 07 :

Bhatrajkhan - Garija (63 Kms)

Kumaon Himalayas Cyling Tour

Freewheel down the wilderness of the Corbett National Park along the Kosi River. Overnight in the Jungle resort Corbett park.

Day 08 :

Corbett - Kotabag (23 kms)

In Corbett we will go on an early morning elephant safari into the forest. After that we will have breakfast. Then we will go on a cycle ride to Kotabagh. We will be cycling through the jungles. Kotabagh is a village. It is located on the foothills of Nainital. We will spend the night in a jungle resort, in Corbett.

Day 09 :

Kotabag - Kaladungi (15 Kms)

This place is a village. It has the Corbett museum and the house where Corbett museum and the house were the home of Lt Col. Jim Corbett. We will stay overnight in the farm house of this village, near the Corbett museum and the house.

Day 10 :

Kaladungi - Chorgalia (30 Kms)

Through the gujjar villages situated amidst the thick Jungles, once the reign of the Famous Dacoit Sultana, giving the place its name. Leave for Delhi after late lunch by coach.
