Overview the Tour

The journey starts when you get on good mountain bikes. These bikes are picked to make sure you have an comfortable ride the whole time. This tour is done in the style of UNMAP Adventure. It is, for people who like to ride bikes no matter if you are just starting out or if you have been doing it for a time. The routes we take are a mix of hard and fun so everyone can enjoy the ride.

When you ride your bike away, from the city the countryside starts to look pretty. The city noise goes away. You see a lot of green trees and plants everywhere. You can also see the Himalayan mountains with snow on top from far away. You will ride on paths and nice roads. This is a time to go slow breathe deeply and really enjoy the Himalayan mountains and the countryside.

When you are traveling you go through some nice villages. The people in these villages are very friendly. They smile at you. You get to see how they live their lives. This is a way to learn about the local culture. These experiences are what UNMAP Adventure is about. UNMAP Adventure believes in traveling in a way that’s meaningful. Point 01 :

Start from Dal Lake

Start your trip from the Dal Lake in Srinagar. The Dal Lake is really beautiful. You will ride your bike along the Dal Lake. See the nice houses and boats on the Dal Lake. You can look at the shikaras and houseboats, on the Dal Lake. The Dal Lake is very calm and quiet.

Point 02 :

Nishat Bagh

Your first stop is Nishat Bagh, which's one of the largest Mughal Gardens in Kashmir. You will ride through the terraced lawns and the lovely flowerbeds. The Nishat Bagh has a nice Persian-style architecture. You will see the views of the Zabarwan Range and the Dal Lake when you are, at the Nishat Bagh. The Nishat Bagh is a nice place to visit.

Point 03 :

Shalimar Bagh

Next, head to Shalimar Bagh, built by Emperor Jahangir for his wife Noor Jahan. Explore the three terraces adorned with fountains, pavilions, and meticulously manicured gardens. Take a moment to relax by the cascading waterfalls and reflect on the garden's historical significance.

Point 04 :

Chashme Shahi

From Shalimar Bagh, cycle to Chashme Shahi, known for its natural spring and refreshing ambiance. Explore the terraced garden and the ancient pavilion, and don't forget to taste the cool, mineral-rich water from the spring.

Point 05 :

Pari Mahal

To see some history and get a great view you should go to Pari Mahal, which people also call the Palace of Fairies. Pari Mahal is on a hill. You can see the whole city from there. The garden at Pari Mahal has seven levels. You can see Srinagar and the mountains, around it really clearly.

Point 06 :

Return to Dal Lake

After a day of exploration, pedal back to Dal Lake, where you can unwind with a relaxing shikara ride or enjoy a traditional Kashmiri meal at one of the lakeside restaurants.
